What does B2B marketing look like for small businesses?
A lot of the resources on ‘how to do marketing right’ comes from the big guys. And we’re guilty of that too — we look to industry leaders who manage large and multinational brands for expertise.
But what if you’re not that big?
It can feel impossible to know what sage advice does and does not apply to your small businesses. You’re torn between marketing leaders telling you to ‘invest in a focused ABM approach, building stronger, more expensive human relationships’ (but not telling you how to afford it), or to go all-in on acquiring as many leads as possible (but not how to handle them when you get them).
In the race to grow business as much as possible, as fast as possible, small businesses that want to stay small are forgotten.
To put it plainly, nobody is talking about you.
In today’s video, industry legend Mark Ritson gives a run down of start-to-end marketing advice in the context of small businesses. This one covers everything from advertising to research to even pricing your product. But, importantly, his advice is tailored to you — no need to spend the time working out what is useful and what isn’t.
